Let DJ Jazzie Marie Take You On a Musical Journey.

Her motto is “Live, Laugh, Love, & Music.” Jazzie Marie has been immersed in music for years, and it all started at the tender age of  2 years old where her dad introduced her to DJing on a Mic and at age 7 she sang a solo in the choir. Her love for music grew stronger as she continued singing in the choir during her teenage years and playing the clarinet, alto clarinet, and tympany drums while in high school. However, DJing was always a passion she kept close to her heart, deeply inspired by her father, Gary McPhatter, also known as “Back 2 Back with Disco Mac.” Gary, who passed away in January 2025, was a significant influence in her life, and Jazzie Marie has been determined to carry on his legacy. Jazzie has DJ'ed in the business for 4+ years and still going. She is affiliated as a Vice President for PrimeDJs covering the east cost from Boston to Atlanta and still growing. Jazzie aims to ensure that through music she can provide the luxury and fun experience for her clients. She is also apart of two Radio station one of them is with PrimeDJs.

Personal Life

Born Sherye McPhatter (now Sherye Howell) in Washington, DC, Jazzie is a proud native Marylander and a diehard Baltimore Ravens fan. But she also honors her father’s legacy by supporting the Washington Commanders, formerly known as the Washington Redskins, his beloved team. Family is everything to Jazzie—she’s a wife (married to Jeray, Sr.), mother to three children (Sarrah, Briannah, Jeray Jr.), and grandmother to little Hope. Her family completes her world, and she cherishes them by creating long-lasting memories through fun activities and, of course, music. In 2023, Jazzie faced a personal challenge when she was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis, a condition she inherited from her aunt on her father’s side. The news was tough, but Jazzie is determined to stay strong and raise awareness. She continues to participate in the MS Walk alongside her fraternity members as a volunteer.
 

Despite the challenges, Jazzie continues to share her passion for music. She's played at several wedding, corporate, and private events but she can often be found spinning live on TikTok, Twitch, Mixcloud. Jazzie also occasionally collaborates with other DJs on Tiktok, through her own "Lady Spinderllas in Da Mix" or on DJ LC's "Turntable Takeovers". She is also going to be launching a online radio station in 2026 with PrimeDJs.
